May 2nd SAT Vocab — New Quiz + Big Pillar Page Update
Hello MJTP families!
The May 2nd SAT is in the books, and the vocabulary reports are already coming in from r/SAT. I've done the full cross-reference against our master list, and there's a lot to unpack — this was a data-rich administration.
Here's what's new:
NEW QUIZ: May 2nd SAT Vocabulary
The full quiz package for May 2nd is now live — warm-up narrative, flashcard deck, and the multi-modal quiz with matching, root/prefix, and SAT-style context questions.

PILLAR PAGE UPDATED
This was one of the bigger updates we've done. May 2nd added 16 brand-new words to the tracked list — but the more important story is what happened to words already on it.
Five words hit three appearances for the first time and are now officially high-frequency:
• Preclude
• Untenable
• Dearth
• Misconstrue
• Supersede
If your student has been treating any of those as "maybe" words, that changes now. Three confirmed appearances means the College Board has a pattern with them.
Four more words moved from single-occurrence up to medium-frequency:
• Adhere — worth highlighting specifically: this word was brand new as of the Spring School-Day report just a few weeks ago and already repeated on May 2nd. That's a fast rise.
• Vacillate
• Preempt
• Opaque
And two words already in the high-frequency tier added appearances: attenuate now has five confirmed showings, and substantiate has four.
